Last week, on the day of the walking field trip at Myers Elementary, students were given a pizza party as a fun lunch. B-A’s food service team made the pizzas and delivered them to the classrooms at Myers.

Stephanie O’Donnell, the Food Services Director at Bellwood-Antis, was happy to make this day happen for the kids, and provide them with “full lunches” they would be excited for.

One member of the food service staff, specifically, couldn’t wait to deliver the pizzas to the kids. Jody Adams, the head cook at Myers, rode her bicycle and transported the pizzas on her bike, just like a pizza delivery worker one might expect to see in the city.

“She literally rode her bike to work and rode it inside the school, with the pizzas on the back,” Stephanie laughed.

The kids at Myers had a great lunch and day thanks to the food service department that made it happen!
