The annual Blue Angels program is now officially active in the Bellwood-Antis School District.
Running from November 8 until December 1, students and staff are able to choose a small angel decoration that has listed a certain Christmas gift specially chosen for needy members of the Bellwood-Antis community. These angels are hanging off of Christmas trees found in al three BASD buildings.
Once a student chooses an angel, then they can go out and buy the gift that is listed. After purchasing the gift, they can wrap, tag, and bag the item. Gifts should be placed in the box beside the tree to be collected and then delivered around this Christmas time.
Each year, this program is run at Bellwood in hopes to provide gifts to those in need. All donations are voluntary, and there is no obligation for students to participate. While participation is not necessary, those who do choose to donate are surely appreciated.
