Students can send Valentines to their favorite teachers by stopping in at the media center.

Valentine’s Day is about showing your love for others. This year, students have the opportunity to send a Valentine to their favorite high school, middle school, and elementary teachers.

Anyone interested can grab a card from the back wall of the media center. Once they have filled it out, it will be delivered on Valentines Day by one of the senior girls who devised the plan.

Carena Eamigh, Casey Markel, Annie Bardell, and Annie LeGrande came up with this idea and actually made it happen.

“I’m excited to give the teachers all of their Valentines and spread all of the cheer,” said Carena.

It only takes a few minutes to make someone’s day, said Mrs. Brittany Solomon, who runs the media center.

“High school students have the opportunity to show their gratitude for the positive influence that even elementary school teachers had on them,” said Mrs. Solomon.

Students can leave their name on the card to show teachers what an impact they have had on their lives.

Casey said, “It’s a fun way for students to connect with any past teachers they have now.”

The special delivery is separate from the French Club’s Valentines delivery sale, which is a fundraiser sending Valentines from student to student. Teacher Valentines are free and are a way to get teachers involved and make them feel loved during this holiday.
