Bellwood had control of the game right out of the gate over Philipsburg-Osceola, cruising to an easy 64-27 win.
The girls kept it close throughout the first quarter going point for point. Throughout the second quarter B-A dominated, holding the Philipsburg offense to 2 points. Bellwood took advantage of the weak PO offense and put up 20 themselves.
Coming out the half it was the same story different quarter. Bellwood outscored Philipsburg 16-5 in the third, giving them a 51-18 lead heading into the fourth. At this point Bellwood put in their subs and still managed to edge the Mounties in scoring, 13-9.
Sophomore Lily Gerwert had a game high 23 points for the Blue Devils, senior Olivia Hess added 11 of her own and junior Leigha Clapper had 10.
The Lady Blue Devils finished 14-8 on the year and advance to playoffs as the 7th seed in District 6 2A standings.
