On Monday May 13th, the annual Bellwood-Antis scholarship banquet was held in the high school gym.

Forty-four members of the class of 2024 were awarded more than $80,000 in financial awards from members of the local business community.

The money total was the highest total in scholarships awarded in the event’s history. Last year, $65,000 in scholarships was given out.

Valedictorian Vincent Cacciotti and Allison Nycum took home the highest monetary amounts, with Cacciotti earning $6,100 in scholarships and Nycum $6,500.
