B-A’s cross country teams took the long ride to Somerset County Wednesday, and the Lady Devils continued to roll through a successful season.
For the boys, it was a matter of two close races where they had many PR’s.
The girls dropped Bishop Carroll 25-30 and defeated Somerset 23-34. The boys lost by just a couple of points in each race, falling 26-29 to Bishop Carroll and 27-28 to Somerset.
There were many people who placed in the top 10 in for both the Blue Devils and Lady Blue Devils.
For the boys, McCaulley Corle placed 5th overall, Martin Fatzinger was 6th overall and Cameron Gallagher was 7th overall. On the girls side, Blake Pennington took 3rd, Julie Kraft was 4th overall, Rylie Andrews placed 6th, and Peyton Hammond finished 8th.
The cross country teams will be back in action next Wednesday when they take on rival Tyrone in Tyrone.
