Throughout history, people have changed the world with all types of inventions. However, to me some stick out more than others. Some of history’s greatest inventors are Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham, Nikola Tesla, and Tim Berners-Lee. Inventions truly changed the world and shaped the way we live, work, and connect every day.
1. Electricity. Technically Electricity wasn’t invented, it was discovered. However, this discovery led to many different inventions which is why I’d still consider it an invention itself. In my opinion Electricity is the most important thing on this list because it powers almost everything in the world. When you really think about it our modern world wouldn’t be able to survive without electricity. Like I said earlier Electricity was more so discovered than invented, and Ben Franklin was the one who discovered and studied it.
2. Internet. Without the internet, our world would be completely different. Internet is extremely important; it powers almost everything we do – from work and school to entertainment and shopping. Similar to electricity, our modern would become a lot slower, quieter, and far less connected. The internet gives us the power to do so many things like learn, connect, and possibly even invent something. The internet was invented by a couple people with the names Leonard Kleinrock, Vint Cerf, and Bob Khan.
3. Air Fryer. This may seem like some type of joke but trust me it’s far from it. The air fryer has truly changed the way people cook, eat, and enjoy their food. One of the things that makes the air fryer so good is the fact that it uses hot air instead of oil, making it healthier and quicker than traditional frying. not only is it really easy to use, it’s also really easy to clean. The air fryer proves that small inventions can make a big difference in everyday life. The mastermind behind this item is Fred Van Der Weij (Dutch engineer).
