When Christmas comes around people do all sorts of things to get into the holiday spirit. Like make cookies, decorate, drink hot chocolate, and watch Christmas movies. Christmas movies all have their own way of explaining Christmas and in all are an amazing thing to do during the holidays. Christmas movies bring people together and keep you in the Christmas spirit. Christmas movies are amazing.

1. Home Alone. Home alone is an amazing movie, releasing on November 16, 1990. This is a movie about a child (Kevin McCalister) who is planning on going on a family vacation to France, but it doesn’t go as planned. It is a must watch for all families during the holidays and can be rewatched many times because of how good it is. The movie Home Alone made approximately 476.7 million dollars, being rewatched and being such a good movie, it made that much. For over 25 years, Home Alone held the Guinness World record for the highest grossing live action comedy, a testament to its enduring property. In all Home Alone IS the best Christmas movie in my opinion.

2. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The Grinch is just such an iconic character during the Christmas time. He is a mean, green, smelly who from Whoville, and HATES Christmas. This movie is second on the list because it always preforms and Jim Carrey adds the fun to the movie playing a perfect role as the Grinch.  The moral of the story is redemption and giving back to others. In all the grinch is an amazing movie to watch during the holidays.

3. Elf. The movie Elf is third on this list because it is a heartwarming movie and the childish adult “Buddy” played by Will Ferrell who travels from the north pole to Vancouver to find his biological father because he’s not like all the other elves being human sized and out of place. The movie Elf is a heart waring story that should be watched every year during the holidays.
