KPop Demon Hunters is a new, exciting show that brings a colorful, music driven theme.
The plot centers on a group of seemingly innocent K-pop stars, that by night, secretly hunt demons to protect the world.
This movie was released in August of 2025 and seems to always reach the high 80’s to low 90’s on the Rotten Tomatoes scale.
The New York Times states, “What we’ll find in this Netflix animated film, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, is an original universe that is charming, funny and artfully punchy.”
While it may seem the film targets a younger audience, its charm transcends age boundaries. Jackson Dorminy, a staff writer on the BA Blueprint states, “I watched the movie with my little cousin, and it was honestly amazing. The movie was funny and really made my day. I really enjoyed when Rumi (A K-pop Demon Hunter character) accepts the fact that she’s a demon at the end of the movie.”
So, in the end, it seems that every person who watches the movie very much enjoys it. It is currently top 10 in movies on Netflix’s chart (#4).
Every person who watched the movie can agree with all of these statements. A truly thriller of a movie with a bunch of singing and a it. You can check it out exclusively on Netflix
