Baseball team thumps Glendale

B-A rolled over Glendale for the second time this season, winning 21-0 yesterday at home.

The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devil baseball team crushed the Glendale Vikings at its home game yesterday.  The final score was 21-0.

The Blue Devils scored 20 runs in the second inning alone.  Cory Parson finished a three-inning no-hitter and struck out six and walked one.   Cory Parson was the winning pitcher.

The Blue Devils did not let the Vikings score once and the game only lasted for two innings.

Chad Luensmann and Randy Zitterbart had two hits each.  Between Luensmann and Zitterbart there were seven runs hit in.

Zitterbart and Showalter each hit a triple. Noah Burns hit a double.  Luensmann, Creppage, Zitterbart, and Kline each hit a double as well.

Sawyer Kline had three RBI’s. The Blue Devils had 13 RBI’s all together: four from Zitterbart, three from Kline, three from Luensmann, two from Creppage and one from Mock.

The Blue Devils had 22 runs, 12 hits, and 1 error.

The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils record is now 13-3.
