B-A boys and girls grab ICC titles

Last night was a good day for both the B-A boys and girls track teams as they traveled to Loysburg to collect ICC wins over Northern Bedford and Fannett-Metal High School.

The big night allowed both teams to secure regular season ICC championships.

The B-A boys track team beat Northern Bedford, 107-43, and Fannett-Metal 106 ½- 43 ½.

The B-A boys had some double winners. Nathan Davis won the 100 dash in 11.9 seconds and the 200 dash in 24.1 seconds. Derek Swope won the 110 hurdles with 15.8 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 44.2 seconds.

Ethan McGee placed second in 300 hurdles in 44.9 seconds.

Dallas Huff placed second in the 110 hurdles with 16.9 seconds.

Devin Burr placed second in the 100 dash in 11.9 seconds, while Eric Morder placed third in the 100 dash in 12.3 seconds.

Kyler Lardieri placed first in the 400 meter dash in 52 seconds and Josh Wilson placed third with 1:00.3.

Noah D’Angelo placed second in the 800 run in 2:07.9.

Isaac Mills placed third in the 1600 run with 4:57.9.

B-A’s 3200 relay team of Aaron Mogle, Hayden McClellan, Robert Vankirk, and Lardieri placed first in 9:10.6.

Matt Glunt placed first in high jump.

The B-A girls track team beat Northern Bedford, 76-74 and Fannett-Metal 103-41.

Karson Swogger won the 200 dash in 29 seconds as well as long jump. Nina Damiano won the shot put and discus.

Megan Claar placed first in the 100 meter dash with 13.5 seconds. Marissa Panasiti placed first in the 400 dash with 1:03.8.

Abbey Luensmann placed second in the 100 hurdles with 19.3 seconds.

B-A’s 1600 relay team of Claar, Sophie Damiano, Ana Hollen, and Marissa Panasiti placed first in 4:26.4.
