Six students from Bellwood-Antis High school won major awards last week for their work in vocational training.

The Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center held its end-of-year awards ceremony last Thursday.  The winners from Bellwood-Antis follow.

HUNTER P. MCCRACKEN

Hunter is in the Electrical Trades program and he won the Senior of the Year award and the Hite Company Tools of the Trade award.

MAXWELL R. LESKOWITZ

Max is in the Welding Technology program and he won the Senior of the Year award.

KALEB W. GARMAN

Kaleb is in the HVAC/P program and he won the Franklin M. Finelli Memorial Scholarship.

SCOTT K. PEARCE

Scott is in the Carpentry program and he won the Lowe’s Gold Hammer.

ROBERT M. WHITEMAN

Matt is in the Electro Mechanical Engineering Technologies program and he won the Daniel A. Clark Memorial Scholarship and the Scott Garlick Memorial Scholarship.

JESSE L. BRANSTETTER

Jesse is in the HVAC/P program and he won the Senior of the Year award and the Smithmyer Special Recognition Award.
