The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis girls’ co-op soccer team also played yesterday against Huntington.  Down at halftime 2-0, the Lady Eagles rallied in the second half and scored three unanswered goals to win by a score of 3-2, thanks to a goal and an assist by Marissa Panasiti.

Panasiti now has 11 goals this season.

“We came back from being down 2-0 in the first half and then we had to come together as a team in the second half and figure out how to win,” said Panasiti.

“There was a fatigue factor after the Hollidaysburg game and playing back to back games,” said Christina Kowalski.

The team has now improved its record to 4-1.

Last but certainly not least, they Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis girls’ co-op tennis team lost to Central yesterday, but Bellwood-Antis Sophomore Tina Hollen won yet again.

Hollen won 6-0, 6-1.

“It feels good to have all my hard work pay off,” Hollen said.
