The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis girls’ soccer team beat Bald Eagle 9-1 yesterday in a conference match up, with the win the girls improving their record to 12-5.

Bellwood-Antis senior Marissa Panasiti had an incredible 5 goals in the game. Panasiti’s goals took her season total 32, breaking the single season record for goals scored which was at 27.

“Thirty-two goals is just a number and all that matters is the team winning,” said Panasiti about breaking the record.

With Freshman Riley D’Angelo adding 2 goals and Freshman Briana Reiter adding one goal.

The girls’ next game is tomorrow when they host Penns Valley in their last regular season game.

Also yesterday the Bellwood-Antis girls’ volleyball lost to Tussey Mountain in 5 sets, dropping their record to 10-4 on the year.  Their next game is today when they travel to Moshannon Valley.
