The Lady Trojans fell to 4-16 with their second blowout loss to B-A. The Lady Blue Devils won earlier this year 71-30.

Seniors Caroline Showalter, Sierra Stevens, and Abbey Crider were celebrated before the game for their accomplishments as seniors.

“It was a lot of fun, and I had a great time playing with my friends,” said Crider.

“The fact that it was Senior Night made us excited to perform well,” said Swogger. “And that was a good thing because we hadn’t played great the previous couple games.”

As playoffs loom, Bellwood looks in great position to make yet another deep playoff run.

“I think we can go far into Districts and states if we keep playing hard and with confidence,” said Showalter.

The win extends B-A’s current win-streak to 10 games and their overall record to 17-4. The Lady Devils face Glendale Monday night and host 11-8 Northern Bedford Wednesday.

“They will be good competition,” said Swogger of NBC. “We’ve got to be ready.”
