Last night, April 7, Aevidum and Musical Theatre held Bellwood-Antis’ first Coffee House. Doors opened at 7 P.M. at the middle school cafeteria, and as soon as you entered you could see many parents, students, and faculty socializing while listening to the numerous performers throughout the evening. Lights were hung around the room, and a stage was set up for singers, dancers, and poets to share their talents.

With over twenty acts throughout the night, and almost all the seats in the room full, it was clear that the Coffee House was a hit.

One of the performers at the Coffee House, senior Caroline Taylor, added her opinion on the outcome of the night.

“I thought we had a really good turnout, and I am really glad that I was a part of the first Coffee House. I hope that this is something they continue to do each year,” she said.

Money was also raised by selling cookies and other snacks and drinks throughout the evening.

Overall, everyone who attended the Coffee House would agree that it was great to come out and perform or just spend time with others socializing.

Mr. Stewart, Aevidum Advisor, said, “I am really happy with how the evening went. We had a lot of great talent from all of the performers, and a great outcome overall. We hope to do this again another time soon.”

So don’t be too sad if you missed the Coffee House because there isĀ  great chance that this was just the first of many to come!

A special thanks to Mr. Stewart, Ms. Hull, Mr. McNaul, and everyone who helped plan and set up for such a fun evening!
