In many ways, the season has been feast or famine so far for the Bellwood-Antis baseball team.

The Blue Devils lost their third game of the year on Friday against a triple-A Bellefonte squad, 10-0.

The game was much like the Mount Union one earlier in the week where the Devils lost 10-0 as well.

B-A has now won two games by 10-run rule and lost two by 10-run rule.

Sawyer Kline led Bellwood with two hits. Jack Showalter and Brendan Kowalski each added one of their own.

Blake Johnston was the starting pitcher for the Blue Devils and Trent Walker came in for relief in the loss.

“It’s tough to lose games like this. It’s a long season however, so we have a lot of time to rebound and get mentally focused for our next game,” said first baseman Joey Padula.

With the loss, the Devils’ record dropped to 3-3. The next game will be held today against Philipsburg-Osceola at 4:30 P.M.
