The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devil softball team lost just their second game of the season to the Everett Warriors.  The Warriors came back after being down 3-0 to score eight runs in two innings, winning 8-3.

B-A got things started early scoring three runs in the second inning, but mistakes later in the game caused them to give up runs. The Blue Devils had five errors that went on to cost them the game.

“Everyone was in their own head,” said senior Caroline Showalter. “We weren’t playing our normal game.”

The Blue Devils kept the lead in the third inning, but in the fourth and fifth inning Everett went on to score their eight runs.

Krystina Taylor led the team with two hits and Jestelynn Heaton added two RBI’s.

Bellwood-Antis is now 14-2 and will play their next game tonight at Williamsburg.
