Stevens, Himes Win GACTC Award

Last Thursday, May 12, 2016 the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center held its forty-ninth Annual Senior Awards Program, to recognize the outstanding achievement in career and technical education.
Two Bellwood-Antis students received special awards.
Connor Himes won the Matheson Tri-County Gas, Inc. Award.
Sierra Stevens also won the Mel Woomer award as the outstanding senior in Cosmetology.
In the National Technical Honors Society Seniors, there were two seniors, Sierra Stevens in Cosmetology and Jessica Stehley in Health Occupations.
In the National Technical Honor Society Juniors, three of our students were awarded, Sophia Damiano in Cosmetology, Payge Heater, in Dental Assistance, and Kenna Wilson-Kerns, in Health Occupations.
