B-A cruises past Everett

Joe Padula scored 19 in B-A’s win over Everett.

Last night, Bellwood-Antis boys Basketball took on Everett on the road.

The boys fell behind 13-4 after one quarter and 28-18 at halftime but battled back to blow past Everett 64-50.

Joey Padula came alive in the second quarter scoring four two-point shots. Then, in the fourth quarter, he made four foul shots and a three pointer.

Trent Walker had a big third quarter for the Blue Devils netting three two-point shots and one foul shot.

Clay Engle also came up big for B-A in the fourth quarter with three two-pointers and making one of the two foul shots.

Engle had 8 out of 10 points in the fourth quarter for Bellwood.

Padula netted 19 points for the Blue Devils, Trent Walker added 17 points and Taneyhill added 11 rebounds and 14 points.

Clay Engle also netted 10 points for the Devils.

Trent Walker had 10 out of his 17 points come in the third quarter of the game.

The Blue Devils now improved to 2-0 in the league.
