Like any other sport, wrestling is dominated by players who have started at a young age, which can make it tough on late-bloomers like B-A senior Noah Schratzmeier.

A couple of Noah Schratzmeier’s friends asked him to wrestle, and he started in ninth grade, putting in a lot of hard work and preparation in order to stand his ground.

His biggest accomplishment was placing eighth at the 31-team Sheetz tournament.

For his accomplishments, Noah has been named the BluePrint’s Athlete of the Week.

Noah really enjoys wrestling and takes a lot of pride in it.

He said the reason he wrestles is “just the fact that it’s a very physical sport and what it takes to do it.”

This season Noah currently has a record of 5-5. He has a goal to go far in districts.

“I feel like I’m doing pretty well,” said Noah. ” And I have improved a lot since last year.”
