Senior Brooke Snyder is going to be attending Penn State Altoona in the fall of 2018.

Though she visited Juniata College, Brooke decided to go to Penn State based on the intensity of the program. Penn State has tough classes and Brooke enjoys the challenge.

Another school that Brooke had looked into was Duquesne.

She hasn’t committed to a major yet, but she said she is going to choose between biology and microbiology.

“I have a strong interest in science and plan to use the knowledge from my (undergraduate) degree to put me in med school,” said Brooke.

Brooke hopes to become an anesthesiologist, which has always been her ultimate goal.

One thing that she thinks is going to be different is college is more independent study, rather than a slow pace assisted class.

Brooke is also thinking about trying out to be a Penn State cheerleader after being a cheerleader at both Altoona Area High School and Bellwood-Antis High School.
