Last Thursday, the B-A Baseball team traveled to Williamsburg to take on the Blue Pirates.

The Blue Devils won in seven innings 13-0, with 8 of their runs coming in the second inning.

The Devils would not score again until the seventh inning, when they scored 4 runs to end the game. By then they didn’t need the cushioning.

Travis Leunsmann, Nick Plank and Jack Leunsmann each had a pair of RBIs.

B-A is now 7-5 overall and they are looking to improve this week with three games. The Devils have won six games by 10 runs or more and two by way of shutout.

The Boys schedule will be Monday at home against Central, Tuesday, away against West Branch, and then on Thursday, away against Mount Union.

SOFTBALL FALLS TO WILLIAMSBURG

The Blue Devils only have six games left this season and they are looking to clinch a spot in the playoffs in their final games.

Last Thursday the Bellwood-Antis softball team played Williamsburg Lady Blue Pirates and it was a close one, with Bellwood falling short 4-2.

B-A has been on a tough losing streak but are looking to break it and get back to winning.

Bellwood plays Northern Bedford today at home and will be trying to get a bounce back.

The Devils will need to string together multiple wins quickly if they hope to qualify for the District 6 2A playoffs.
