This weeks College Corner is Gage Dean! Gage will be studying at the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, or PIA for short. He will be studying within the Avionics department.

“Taking the Avionics class will help expand my knowledge in my desired field, IT, while not totally breaking my bank,” said Dean.

Dean has a lot of interest in the math and science found in the PIA institute. He strongly believes that he will be able to thrive in the atmosphere.

After college graduation, Dean wants to expand his knowledge and never stop learning. He plans to take up a well paying job and his goal is to stay with that job for as long as possible.

“I will live life to the fullest and make the most positive impact I can,” said Dean.

According to Dean, the thing he will miss most about Bellwood-Antis is the simplicity of life, the community, and the familiar faces.

“The real world is a complicated mess. I am sure I will become more comfortable as the time I spend away from BA increases, but it’ll take time. The familiar faces have always given me the reassurance I’ve needed to strive to be the best person I could be,” said Dean.
