For the second time in three seasons, the Bellwood-Antis football team pulled out an overtime victory over Tyrone in the Backyard Brawl.

The Devils topped the Golden Eagles 35-32 in double overtime in the season opener last Friday at Memorial Stadium. After holding Tyrone to a field goal on their second extra possession, B-A turned to Zach Mallon, who scored his fourth touchdown of the night from seven yards out to seal the win.

Mallon also scored on runs of 2 and 19 yards, along with an 87-yard kick return in the fourth to answer a score by Tyrone. Troy Walker scored the Devils’ other touchdown in the third quarter on a 22-yard pass from Trevor Miller.

B-A travels to Glendale Friday to begin ICC play.
