The next Super Senior for the BluePrint is none other than Zach Miller, more commonly known as “Zippy.” Miller recently committed to Waynesburg University, where he will play basketball and study sports analytics and athletic communications.

“Waynesburg was a good fit,” says Miller. “I love the campus as well as the coach and the program. I can’t wait to get started in the fall.”

In his final season of high school basketball this past winter, Zippy averaged 15.6 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, 1.4 steals per game, and 1.3 blocks per game. Miller helped the boys Blue Devil basketball squad go 9-2 in the ICC, 10-9 overall. Zippy is also lighting up the baseball diamond with one at-bat and a .000 batting average. “I’m trying my best out here,” he says.

Outside of school, Zach enjoys fishing and playing video games. “Zippy is a very talented fisherman,” says local fisherman Rob Martin.

Zippy’s favorite part of senior year was “knowing that you’ve reached the end of the tunnel.”

Best of luck to Zippy in his future endeavors.
