Feature Teacher: Mr. Carr
Mr. Noah Carr is a new face in the Bellwood-Antis Highschool as this marks his first year teaching at Bellwood. Mr.Carr is replacing science teacher Ms. Carrie Clippard.
Although this marks Mr. Carr’s first year teaching at Bellwood, he started off his teaching career at Northern Bedford High school. Mr. Carr started teaching there about mid way through last school year.
Mr. Carr graduated from Juniata College with a degree in chemistry, and a secondary in education. Teaching wasn’t Mr. Carr’s first choice when he went to college, though. He started college as a pre-med chiropractic major, and then changed it to sociology and social work. He then made his final change, shifting his major to chemistry, and adding education the degree.
When asked about what he loves most about teaching Mr. Carr said, “Building rapport with my students and supporting them in their academics, and their activities.”
