There are so many students, staff, and teachers in the Bellwood-Antis School District who make a difference every single day.

Most of them have worked many years in the school district, and it is no different for B-A’s school nurse helper, Nurse Susan Nori. However, not all of her years have come at Bellwood-Antis.

Mrs. Nori has been in nursing for 49 years. She works at the high school half a day, aiding Mrs. Kelly Hoover, and at Myers half a day with Nadia Andrews.

“Coming in and not knowing what you are going to deal with. Everyday is an adventure,” said Nurse Nori.

She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1973. She also worked 33 years at Mercy/BonSecours recovery room as a nurse.

Mrs. Nori Graduated from Bishop Gilfoyle High School and worked as a school nurse at Hollidaysburg Area High School from 2006-2019.

She worked as a nurse helper at Bellwood-Antis School District in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. She also worked as a COVID Vaccinator in 2021.

Nurse Nori says the biggest challenge of her career was COVID-19.
