COLLEGE CORNER: Ethan Brown

Addalyn Turek, Staff Writer

Ethan Brown will be attending Juniata College. It is a small, secluded school located in Huntingdon PA. He ultimately choose Juniata because of the location, how prestige the college is, and a golfing offer. He considered Penn State but didn’t choose it because he had more opportunities, a golf offer, and a more personal experience with Juniata. Ethan plans on majoring in mathematics. With a major in mathematics he will have to take many math courses and other courses revolving around statistics and analysis.

He plans on getting involved in campus life by joining the Juniata Activities Board, other clubs most likely sports, and he hopes to be an RA. After college Ethan wants a job in sports statistics and could possibly go back to school for a masters degree. When Ethan goes to college he is going to miss the fun classes, nice sports atmosphere, and how laid back Bellwood is.

Ethan’s advice for underclassmen preparing for senior year is, “You’re not going to get every scholarship, but make the most opportunities. Speaking of opportunities apply to multiple colleges to keep your choices open, you never know what could happen.”
