SPORTS RECAP: Boys Cross Country gets Another Win

Corry Shanafelt and the boys cross country team continued to roll with a pair of wins.

The Boys cross country team got a win over Cambria Heights at Cambria Heights. Christian Sensibaugh took the top spot for the Blue Devils. The team is now 6-1 and are getting ready to run against Philipsburg-Osceola on 9/29. 

Boys Golf Wins 3rd Straight Championship 

The golf team beat all 5 of the other I.C.C. teams to pick up their 3rd straight championship. The team was led by Junior Ethan Johnston who shot an 86 winning 1st place medalist. The golf team is now 13-3 as they won their last match of the season against Curwensville and Claysburg to finish their season on a high note. 

Girls Cross Country team loses to Cambria Heights

The girls cross country team lost to Cambria Heights at Cambria Heights. The team is now 3-3 and will run against Philipsburg-Osceola on 9/29 at Philipsburg-Osceola. 

Boys Soccer team falls to Bellefonte 

The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis soccer team played Bellefonte on Monday where they lost 4-0. The team played Hollidaysburg where they lost 9-0. The team’s record is now 1-6-1 and now they are getting ready to play Philipsburg-Osceola next week. 

Girls Volleyball suffers first loss of season

The girls volleyball team lost their first match 3-0 as they hosted West Branch on Tuesday. Their record is now 9-1 and they look to get another win against Williamsburg tonight. The game is in Williamsburg.
