The senior girls powderpuff team is looking to go undefeated for their high school career.

On November 3 at 6pm, the seniors will take on the juniors in the annual powderpuff game at John Hayes Field at Memorial Stadium. The game is sponsored by the Key Club.

The senior girls had a historical win in their junior season when they upset Class of 2022, 18-6.

Without much competition this year, Chelsea McCaulsky is projected to throw for over 400 yards passing and 5 touchdowns.

Lydia Worthing, who is also known as “The Weapon” because of her role as RB/WR on offense and LB on defense, is also looking to have a monstrous game. Worthing had two touchdowns last season.

Aside from these two superstars, the senior team is built around speed with girls like Lexi Lovrich, a track and cross country superstar. Lovrich added one touchdown in 2021.

Head Coach Eli Pluebell is fired up for this big game.

“We’re going to dominate this game, there’s no question about it. We have the size, strength, and speed advantage,” he said.

The girls practice every week for several hours, showing how truly dedicated they are to winning  and going undefeated in their high school powderpuff career.

“We put blood, sweat, and tears into this, and we can’t wait to show the community how dominant of a team we are,” said tight end Brielle Campbell.
