Holden Schreier has just begun his varsity basketball career at Bellwood-Antis. He instantly started to make an impact for the team, averaging 8.1 points per game and also leading the team in steals with 1.6 steals per game. 

Schreier started the year coming off the bench, but recently got called into the starting lineup. Holden has helped the team scoring, with his 3-point percentage at 35%. He had a career high last week against Mount Union with 21 points and 20 points against Tussey Mountain. 

Holden also plays quarterback for the football team and runs track in the spring.

For his efforts, Holden Schreier has been named BluePrint Athlete of the Week. 

“It’s been a rough start to the season. We’ve had a lot of challenges and couldn’t get some games to go our way. But we are making improvements and we can make a run to end our season and get into the playoffs,” says Holden. 

The boys basketball team is currently 3-11 with their next game home against Juniata Valley.
