B-A opens 9th annual cereal drive fundraiser
For many years, Bellwood-Antis has been one of the leading schools in the area for contributing towards charitable organizations. When it comes to donations to the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry, B-A is no exception, being the No. 1 contributor year after year.
It’s time to begin collecting food donations against because the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, led by teacher Mr. Nick Lovrich, will be sponsoring its 9th annual cereal drive. Last year, over 1,000 boxes were donated through the generosity of B-A students.
There will be boxes placed in all high school and middle school homerooms, provided by the FCA, for students to donate cereal. Cereal collection started on Wednesday and will be ending on February 19.
The homeroom with the most donations will be rewarded with a pizza party. Last year was the first year since before COVID that B-A could donate to the highly appreciative people at St. Vincent.
Thanks to all those who are willing to donate.
