Last night the Lady Devils took care of business on senior night. Bellwood-Antis won the game 67-33 against West Branch, improving the team’s record to 16-4.

Senior Lydia Worthing scored 24 points and 10 points. Also helping the team was sophomore Leigha Clapper with 12 points. This is Worthing’s 10th double double of the season. She is currently leading the team in points per game with 16 and 12.2 rebounds per game.

The win edged the Lady Devils back to the top of the District 6 2A standings, just ahead of Portage.

Prior to the game the team honored Worthing, Chelsea McCaulsky, and Alyson Partner with Senior Night recognition. The trio started their varsity careers playing on the two-time defending state championship team that had its three-peat run cut short with the COVID shutdowns of 2020. Last season they led the team all the way to the PIAA final four.

The Lady Devils next game is against Mount Union next Monday.
