B-A to host school wide Dancing with the Stars in March

Coming to B-A, March 16th at 7:00 p.m., the Bellwood-Antis Foundation Committee will be hosting a fundraiser that will be similarly structured to the hit TV show, Dancing with the Stars.

The B-A Foundation Committee funds scholarships and items needed by teachers to help make B-A a better school.

Each club from Bellwood-Antis high is being asked to pick at least one student to dance in the contest. They can either pick a dance partner or a few local dance school students will be a partner and help pick the dancer’s music and help choreograph the dance. The dance should be 2 to 3 minutes long a will require practice before the show.

Each organization creates a “box” for your group, highlighting the student in the competition to collect votes for the contest. Every $1 is equal to one vote.

There will be one team who that the competition and both dancers will receive a mirror ball trophy and $50 cash. The winner will be determined by judges scores and audience votes, which will be gathered during intermission.

Before the show, there will be a spaghetti dinner in the cafeteria from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
