Scholarship availability discussed at senior meeting
B-A seniors had an important meeting on Monday about scholarships.
On Monday during first period, Bellwood-Antis High School held a meeting for all seniors to discuss upcoming scholarship opportunities and the schedule throughout the rest of the year.
The meeting was led by high school principal Mr. Richard Schreier.
Seniors have been offered the prospect for up to nearly $65,000 dollars in scholarships from local businesses and donors who want to grant several students based on many different criteria, including scholarships based on career path, grades and schooling, and financial circumstances.
All Bellwood seniors are offered these many scholarships. All they have to do is complete the form that was given out at the meeting. The dealine to turn in the form is March 24. If you missed getting the forms they are available in the guidance office along with help and support regarding common app and filling them out.
Local scholarships are awarded annually at the honors banquet held in May.
