Bellwood-Antis musicians will have their Christmas concert next week.

Come and join the BA Band on Wednesday, December 6th at 7:00pm for the Middle School and High School Winter Band Concert!

The high school band will be playing Christmas pieces from around the world such as Brazilian Bell Carol, Russian Christmas Music, and many more. It’s a concert you shouldn’t miss!

High School students have been preparing to put this concert on since early September. The tireless rehearsal is essential for a great concert.

According to Patrick Sachse, the middle school and high school band director, “The students have done great work up to now, and it’s just a matter of performing with energy.”

With High School band, Mr. Sachse is most looking forward to performing Russian Christmas music, which is one of his favorite compositions of all time. With 7th and 8th grade band, he’s most looking forward to A Christmas Canon, which blends Pachelbel’s Canon with the First Noel.

This will be the most artistic and expressive 7th and 8th grade ensemble I’ve taught in my career.

— Patrick Sachse

The fifth and sixth grade band will be playing selections such as Rockin’ Jingle Bells, Swinin’ Up on the Houstop, and more! The seventh and eight grade band will be playing A Christmas Canon, A Cartoon Christmas, and many more classics.

Overall, this concert will be one to remember!

“The concert will be a great opportunity to support our students’ hard work and enjoy sounds of the Holiday season,” said Mr. Sachse. Come out and support the BA Band!
