Mrs. Conlon made a bold move from the elementary school in Tyrone to the middle school here at Bellwood. In Tyrone, she taught first grade; here, she took a leap to 6th grade. She feels that the dynamic of kids, in addition to teaching different classes, makes the school day very different than from previous teaching experience.
The new sixth grade teacher’s favorite thing about her new job is building relationships with the students. She loves working in the same school that her daughters attend. Mrs. Conlon has been coaching Jr. High Basketball for the Bellwood-Antis School District for four years. She feels it is helpful to see the basketball team on a daily basis.
Mrs. Conlon commented, “I am really excited to be here at Bellwood and be a part of the community.” We are thrilled to have Mrs. Conlon as a part of the Bellwood-Antis School District teaching team!
