The Bellwood-Antis unified bocce team had their first match at home on Monday against Hollidaysburg.

It was a big challenge, but B-A won in two sets.

The Blue Devils won with scores of 6-5 and 7-6. The second match went into overtime and was neck and neck the whole time, but B-A was the one to come out on top.

“It was a really close game, and both teams played well,” said bocce coach Mrs. Shannon Elder. “We’re so proud of our team for working together. It was a great way to start the season.”
