Lazy summer days call for the best easy activities. (Public domain image by Peggy Chouchair)

With school winding down, and waiting for summer I feel its only right it talk about the best thing to do.

1. Swimming. There are many reasons that swimming is at the top of this list. One reason is that you could swim by yourself, with friends, family, or a random person. You can also swim  in a pool, river, lake, or even the ocean depending on where you live. Not only is swimming fun, but it’s also a great thing to do for exercise. Swimming can also be seen as a good way to relax, and feel good. I think the main reason swimming is #1 is because its super easy, and you could do it while doing other things.

2. Going to a fire or barbeque. Going to a fire or barbeque is easily a #2, and maybe even a #1. There are so many things that make fires/barbeques fun, and enjoyable. At a barbeque (depending on the location) You could go swimming, play some basketball, wiffle ball, football, or the most common game Cornhole. The thing that makes barbeques and fires so fun is the people you’re usually with, whether that’s your family or friends. Not to mention the food that’s usually at a barbeque.

3. Fishing. Now see Fishing could go both ways for some people, but for me it’s sitting calmly at the number 3 spot. I think fishing is an overall fun thing to do. One of the problems most people have with fishing is the patience and tolerance it takes. There’s nothing like that feeling of hooking that fish and reeling it in. Fishing Rods can generally be expensive, but just like anything in the world, the more expensive things are usually better. Overall fishing is a fun thing, and I would recommend trying it.

HM: going to a Carnival/fair/amusement park.
