Stepping into the halls of Bellwood Middle School, one can’t help but notice the enthusiasm and fresh perspective brought by Mr. Baronner, the newest addition to the English department. This is his fifth-year teaching, having previously taught high school at Chestnut Ridge. Now, he teaches both 7th and 8th grade English. After moving to Bellwood recently, he quickly seized the opportunity when the job opened. Mr. Baronner expressed that he finds Bellwood to be a nice school district and appreciates its small size, which allows him to know many of the students.
Mr. Baronner teaches because of his passion for English and enjoys seeing students learn to express themselves better. He enjoys teaching middle school because the students are fun to work with. This year, he is focusing more on teaching writing, whereas he previously taught reading, which is a bit different for him. In the future, he is considering coaching running, but for now, he is concentrating on getting his classes ready.
Mr. Baronner is excited to bring his enthusiasm and expertise to Bellwood and looks forward to making a positive impact on his students.
