Being a student athlete is a big role but somehow she’s always giving her all.
“Karlie has done a great job stepping into a very big role as a freshman point guard, she has taken a really big responsibility and handled it well,” says coach Longo.
For the Lady Devils, she is a point guard but she still struggles with getting in her head a lot. She believes her amazing team and coaches help her to improve and encourage her to be the best she can be.
Karlie not only plays on the B-A basketball team, but she also plays softball as well. She is very exited to be getting back into softball, and getting to play on varsity level with a brand new team.
Outside of all the sports and activities she is apart of, she simply likes to just hang out with her friends and go shopping.
She does well in school and accomplishes a lot of academic success.
Karlie’s best friend Maya Plummer says she’s most proud of Karlie for “being very good at softball and making both a sideline cancer and starting for school softball”.
She is a very dedicated and hardworking student and athlete, and many people are exited to see her successes going forward.
