The Bellwood Antis music department will perform Shrek the Musical on March 27th, 28th, and 29th.
The play is based on the hit movie, Shrek. It follows the tale of the ogre Shrek, who goes on a life-changing journey alongside a wise-cracking donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue.
The play is directed by Molly Burns. Mr. Logue is the music director while Mr. Sachse is the orchestra director.

The Blueprint will be featuring members of the cast, today we focus on Collin Mathews, who plays Pinocchio.
What role do you play in the musical?: I play the part of Pinocchio.
How long have you been in the musical?: I have been doing the musicals for about 2 years.
What are you looking forward to most?: I am very excited to act with my friends.
What makes you want to join the musical?: I love music and singing/acting with my friends.
Did you enjoy Shrek before the musical?: Yes!
Who is your favorite character in the musical and why?: Probably Donkey, because he has some funny lines and is played by a good actor.
What is your biggest challenge with the musical?: My biggest issue is probably getting my Pinocchio voice down.
What is the best thing about being in the musical to you?: The best thing about being in the musical to me is being able to be myself with friends.
Who helped you the most throughout getting the musical set up?: God, my friends, and my family.
What would you tell people who are interested in joining the musical?: You should definitely do it. It’s a good time and everyone is very nice and accepting.
