Senior Marissa Cacciotti has recently committed to Penn State University Park.

“I am looking forward to meeting new people and being able to experience a big school atmosphere,” she stated, ” I am also very excited for my major-based classes.”

Marissa is majoring in Biomedical Engineering.

“I wanted to find a degree that would be challenging and allow me to grow as a person as well as being able to help others,” she stated.

Marissa, who was recently named 2026 Valedictorian, has always been top of her class. Alas, she is very ready for different opportunities Penn State has to offer.

Penn State, located in State College, Pennsylvania, was an easy pick for Marissa. “I really like all the opportunities that are available both academically and individually,” she stated, “I have spent a lot of time on campus because of my brother, and it just seemed like a good fit for me.”

Marissa will not be alone as she will have her brother, Bellwood-Antis Alum Vincent Cacciotti on campus with her. She is also rooming with fellow senior Aubrey Snyder.
