B-A cheerleaders get soaked!
The Bellwood Cheerleaders held a team fundraiser to collect funds for their new B-A Blue Devil mascot. The cheerleaders have held many fundraisers this year to cover the expenses. Advisors of the Cheer Association, cheerleaders and parents all agreed a new team mascot was desperately needed. The “retired” mascot uniform could not bare another year as it was literally falling apart at the seams.
Theresa Rodland said, “It was great to see the Junior High and Varsity Cheerleaders working together as a team.”
The girls did such a good job at washing cars that they were able to raise $595. We asked Amber Briggs some questions, and she had a positive response. She said if the girls have another car wash, she would come back.
The girls would like to thank Hillside Church for letting us use the parking lot and providing us with water to wash the cars. They would also like to thank all of the supporters for bringing their cars down for the girls to wash.
The Cheerleaders had a lot of fun washing cars!
