Bellwood-Antis gets by Juniata Valley

The Bellwood-Antis boys’ basketball team traveled to Juniata Valley where they beat the Hornets 82-64.
Joey Padula led the Blue Devils with 22 points, and Nathan Davis added 16 points and 15 assists. Noah D’Angelo scored 15 points, a new career high, and also recorded a double-double with 10 boards.
“My teammates were getting me the ball in open positions and I was making my lay-ups,” said Senior Noah D’Angelo about his game on Thursday.
Jarrett Taneyhill also recorded 15 points with a handful of blocks as the Blue Devils defeated the Hornets.
The game improves their record to 2-0 on the year. The Blue Devils next game is Monday at Moshannon Valley in what is looking to be a close game.
