Service Paws to host golf tournament fundraiser
PAWing it FOREward is a golf tournament that benefits the Service Paws of Central PA.

During the 2015-16 school year the organization Service Paws of Central Pennsylvania was introduced to the Bellwood-Antis community through Mrs. Linda Noonan.
Service Paws has been supporting service dogs and the people these dogs serve by raising the money needed to not only train the dogs but also get the dogs to people who need them. Mrs. Noonan has taken up the cause in the Bellwood-Antis School District.
The group is planning a fun summer event to continue raising funds.
On Friday, July 28, the organization will host the “Pawing IT FOREward Golf Tournament,” at the Ebensburg Country Club.
The event will begin at 1:00 pm and includes a grilled lunch, 50/50 raffle, Mulligans, Dog-gone Drive, Puppy Putt and more!
In the past Service Paws has collected pop tabs from all three building of the BASD to help Service dogs get what they need. A drive that lasted the entire 2015-2016 school year raised hundreds of dollars for the cause through pop tab donations alone.
Donations of aluminum can tabs will also be collected at the tournament and all of the money raised in the tournament will benefit the Service Paws foundation.
