The boys fall to Tyrone

Last Friday, the Blue Devils traveled to Tyrone for their first regular season game, against their biggest rivals.

The devils started out their season with a very rough start getting a rough defeat against their rivals, losing to Tyrone 63-18.

Senior, Nathan Wolfe had 8 of the 18-points BA managed to rack up, the devils are looking for reliable scorers to step up and get BA the points they need to have superior season.

Head Coach, Kevin Conlon said “We are excited for the season despite the rough opening game… We don’t have much varsity experience returning so a lot of new players are going to get opportunities to step up.”

The Eagles overwhelmed Bellwood with pressing the whole game, and with 7 players having points the team is very balanced.

The Devils went into the half with 6 points and came out of the half only managing to score another point.  During the 4th period they were able to end the game scoring 10 points and rounding out the season opener with a loss against the Eagles 63-18.
