The Junior High Scholastic Scrimmage team had a successful opening day to their 2019 season.

Yesterday they competed against other schools in the area at the IU8 headquarters in Altoona.

B-A won 5 of their 6 matches, and their only loss was to Hollidaysburg with a 105-90 score. Even though they lost to Hollidaysburg’s first team they came back to beat their second team, along with wins over Tyrone, Claysburg-Kimmel, Hyndman, and Northern Bedford.

The team includes Jack Luensman, Zach Amato, Canyon Neyman, Chloe Brown, Ava Miller, Avery Turek, Cadeon Poe, Emma Corrado, Gaven Ridgway, and Olivia Hess.

They are coached by Mrs. Kathy Taylor

The team will be back in action today as they compete again at the IU8 headquarters.
