Bellwood-Antis mini-THON is raising money to help childhood cancer.

The Bellwood-Antis mini-THON committee is holding a movie night on Friday, January 10 in the auditorium.

All proceeds go to Four Diamonds Organization, which helps kids who are battling cancer. The movie starts at 7 p.m. and admission is $3 for kids and $5 for adults. The movie that will be shown is Zootopia

Along with the film,  snacks and refreshments will be sold at the door.

“We are hoping to raise thousands of dollars this year for mini-THON,” said adviser Mr. Matthew McNaul.

Mr. McNaul, co-adviser Mr. Brandon Stewart, and the entire student-led THON committee have other activities planned leading up to the mini-THON event, such as stall day, another movie night, and the Freezer and Beef raffle.

The THON committee is trying to raise $25,000. This is the 3rd year that Bellwood-Antis has hosted mini-THON, during which time the school has raised more than $40,000.

The mini-THON dance event  will be held on February 28.
